FC Barcelona Youth Academies

As the marketing manager for the regional partner of the Barça Academies in Canada, I was responsible for designing all the marketing assets used across all social media platforms, website, pitch branding, merchandise, and digital campaigns as well as  t-shirts, stickers, flyers, manuals, print and video ads, product pictures, photography, and all creative requirements.  Additionally I was in charge of overseeing all digital marketing campaigns for the Barça Academies and football camps in Canada, China, Australia and New Zealand.

Academy Expansion Worldwide

During my time as a marketing manager for the Barça Academies in Canada we were able to grow the operation exponentially. We started in 2014 with one football camp in a year, and by 2018 we grew to run seven permanent academies in Canada, two academies in Australia, one academy in New Zealand, and one academy in China.

Training and Event Branding

All programs were branded in accordance to the Barça Academy brand guidelines. I was responsible with producing all the pitch and event branding for all camps, academies, clinics, and marketing activations.

DIGITAL ADS &
CAMPAIGNS

As the marketing manager I was responsible for overseeing all digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, and Facebooks ad campaigns. Additionally, I designed all the creative assets in accordance to the guidelines of the Barça Academy brand.

DIGITAL 
ACTIVATIONS

We had a large digital audience and it was important to activate them as much as possible. To increase our community and engagement, I was in charge of creating activations which included giveaways, raffles, contests and various kinds of digital engagements.

PROMO VIDEOS

We organised various regional, national, and international tournaments between the academies and camps players. To build up anticipation, I created various videos to use as marketing assets in our campaigns to attract more and higher quality talent.
